Joe Savino started United Fire Protection Corp. with his brother, Frank. Joe has been the company’s Vice President for 33 years running.

Favorite Part of Working at United: Living with the knowledge that we are protecting property and lives. There have been many instances over the years where there have been a fire at a customer’s facility and our detection and suppression systems have extinguished the fire every time. It brings great satisfaction to me that we not only saved property worth millions of dollars but we most likely saved lives along the way. That is a tremendous thing to be a part of.

Matt has been project managing, consulting, and selling fire protection equipment with United Fire for 6 years.

Glenn has been a leading fire protection specialist at United Fire for 28 years. He has over 37 years of experience in design, engineering , installation, and service in all types of water-based , gaseous, non-gaseous and foam systems, and holds certifications for high pressure and low pressure water mist and all clean agent systems. He is an invaluable member of the team and one of our most experienced technicians!

Favorite Part of Working at United: Helping to build a legacy of professional excellence!

Luis has been performing inspections, conducting site surveys, and providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance for 20 years. He is one of our most experienced field technicians, and provides excellent service.

Favorite Part of Working at United:I love that we are treated as family (small melting pot) of individuals who all work toward the same goal: providing the highest level of service to our clients.

With 2 years of experience, Joe is quickly learning the various skills and techniques to manage and maintain the various levels of systems we maintain.

Favorite Part of Working at United: The constant learning experience is my favorite part of working for United Fire. The Senior Technicians are always available when I have any questions. I get to see something new every day. I’m still learning new things everywhere I go and as I learn I feel more confident as a Technician.

For 17 years, Melissa has been a core part of United Fire Protection Corp. She manages invoicing for all east coast operations and provides customer support follow-up proposals.

In addition to her 1 year at United Fire, Charlotte has over 18 years of experience in the fire protection industry. She provides support to our Service and Accounting Departments.

Jody has been a vital part of our company for over 8 years. She processes payroll for all employees/offices/Unions, and ensures that pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. She also manages the staffing process (including recruiting, assist with interviewing, hiring and all onboarding paperwork) and administers various employee benefit programs (including medical, vision, dental, life, 401K and supplemental insurances).

Favorite Part of Working at United: The diversity of the day to day activities allows me to interact with every person in all departments throughout the company.

Michael handles a variety of tasks for United, including but not limited to: Project Management, Sales, and Bidding/Estimating. He has been with us for over 4 years.

Nicholas has been an Estimator and Project Manager for our company for over 2 years. His goal is to sell fire protection systems to protect the assets & lives of our customers and ensure that these projects are finished on time and on-budget.
