The National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors (NAFED) was established in 1963 with the mission of continuously improving the economic environment, business performance, and technical competence in the fire protection industry. NAFED members are dedicated to raising the standards of the fire equipment industry through cooperative efforts with other distributors and manufacturers in the areas of education, legislation, and professional service for the benefit of the general public in all aspects of fire prevention and protection. This is reflected in NAFED’s code of ethics, to which all members subscribe.
